Check&Get
is handy and powerful bookmark manager and web
monitoring program that lets you check
your favorite Internet pages and detect if their content has changed or
has become unavailable.
It can notify you of changes or web-server downtime by bookmark highlighting, by pop-up message, by playing a sound file or by sending you e-mail message with the updated web page. Check&Get can even download the updated file from the Internet and save it to the specified folder on your hard disk.
The program detects the duplicated, mirrored or dead links in your bookmark collection and you can delete or correct them a snap. Powerful searching and sorting capabilities by URL, description, keywords and other information that was extracted from web pages automatically make your bookmark processing quick and effective.
The registered version of the program allows you to Import, Export and Synchronize your bookmarks among the most popular browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape and Opera).
Also, you can convert your bookmarks to the HTML file with easy and convenient navigation. It allows you to create your "mini-portal" in seconds and then publish it on the Web (click here to see the example).
Check&Get features an embedded HTML preview pane, which enables you to fast and easy navigate through your favorite Internet pages without loading your browser. In addition, Check&Get allows you to open your links in the custom external browser like Internet Explorer or Netscape.
The program can be loaded automatically on Windows startup and run as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
