The Advanced Monitoring Settings tab of Bookmark Properties
dialog allows you viewing and setting the advanced web-page
monitoring options.
The following tabs are available in the Advanced
Monitoring Settings tab:

Change
Detection
"Change Detection" tab allows you to configure the parameters of
web-page change detection:
At least ## Lines / Words
change
This option provide you the easy way to monitor the "dynamic"
web-pages with the content which is changed on the every download
of this web-page. The example of such content: visitor counts,
showing the current date and time, text advertisements, etc
To avoid the "false" changes detection on such dynamic web-pages
select this checkbox and set the minimum number of changed words or
lines to mark this web-page as "Changed".
At
least ## New Links Found
If this option is enabled, Check&Get sets bookmark as
"Changed" if the specified number of new links found on the
explored web-page.
At
least ## New Images Found
If this option is enabled, Check&Get sets bookmark as
"Changed" if the specified number of images are changed or new.
Content Ignoring
Select the options to ignore some specific changes.

Actions
Select additional actions and alerts to do when web-page
changed:
Play sound
If this option is enabled, Check&Get plays the specified
sound file (*.wav) when web page is changed.
If you not specify the sound file, Check&Get will play the
program default sound.
Send e-mail
If this option is enabled, Check&Get sends e-mail message to
the specified recipients when bookmark is "Changed" or "Dead" (see:
"Alert and do Actions
when" settings) .
If no recipients specified, Check&Get sends the e-mail
message to the Default Recipients, specified at E-Mail Settings dialog of the program.
Check&Get places to the e-mail the quick bookmark
information and the content of the web-page.
You can set the e-mail options to define the kind of
e-mail alert you receive:
- Web Page (Attached) - Check&Get will send
the quick web-page information via e-mail with the whole changed
web-page as e-mail attachment. Changes on web-page are
highlighted.
- Change Report and Web Page (Attached) -
Check&Get will send the Report of Changes via e-mail with the
whole changed web-page as e-mail attachment. Changes on web-page
are highlighted.
- Change Report only - Check&Get will send
the Report of Changes via e-mail.
- Web Page as E-Mail - Check&Get will make
the HTML e-mail message that contains the web-page content.
Note:Some web-pages could not be displayed within e-mail client
program. If you see the bad-formatted e-mail - change the settings
to "Web-Page (Attached)" option.
Connection
Connection tab allows you to set up the options of how
Check&Get retrieves the web pages.
Authentication Settings
Some web-pages require user authentication. It means that users
can not access the web-page without submitting the correct user
name and password.
Check&Get supports two kind of authentication:
- Basic Authentication - the standard
kind of authentication. When web-site requires the basic
authentication, browser shows the pop-up window, requesting user
name and password.
If this kind of authentication used, select "Requires
User Name and Password" checkbox and provide the User Name
and Password values:
- Authentication via web-form (HTTP
POST request).
If this kind of authentication used, select "Send POST
Parameters " checkbox and click "Configure" button to set
the parameters of request:
HTTP Settings
Skip Proxy for this
Bookmark
Sometimes, you need to disable default proxy settings for
bookmarks that points to the web-sites or web-pages located in your
internal network (intranet).
Select this option to disable using proxy for the bookmark.
Recommended Value: Unchecked.

Settings
Disable HTTP Cookies
Some Web sites store information in a small text file on your
computer. This file is called a cookie. Cookies can also store
personally identifiable information.
You can disable providing the cookies to web-site by selecting
this checkbox.
Note: Some web-pages are inaccessible if
cookies are disabled.
Recommended Value: Unchecked.
Ignore
Web Page Error Codes
Each time when you request the web page from web server, web
server provide the "status code" of this page to your browser.
Check&Get uses these codes to detect if web page is
unavailable (not found or moved to the other location).
Sometimes, due to web server configuration errors, web site
provides the incorrect result codes. For example, it could provide
the "404 Web Page Not Found" error while the web page actually
available.
Select this checkbox to prevent Check&Get to identify such
working pages as "Dead" and continue to monitor them.
Recommended Value: Unchecked.
